About
I am a Product Director at Shopify, working on Shop Campaigns to make advertising really, really simple for all merchants. Shop Campaigns is Shopify's customer acquisition program — merchants set a cost they're willing to pay per new customer, and we run ads on their behalf across the Shop App, the Shopify Product Network, and third-party platforms including Google, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Bing, Pinterest, Snapchat, X, and ChatGPT. Merchants pay only when a customer actually converts — no impression or click fees.
Previously, I was a co-founder of Buy with Prime at Amazon — passionate about helping merchants and entrepreneurs be successful in building and growing their omni-channel commerce businesses. I launched Buy with Prime collaborating with various internal Amazon teams and external partners, and was responsible for the overarching product strategy and execution. Prior to that, I led the product and data science teams on the social advertising team at Amazon, driving multiple billions in attributed revenue through programmatic ad programs on Meta, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Reddit worldwide.
I have a passion for leading products during their growth phase, defining north star metrics and relentlessly executing towards the goals.
I joined Amazon after graduating from the MBA program at The Wharton School in 2016. Prior to Wharton, I worked at ITC (India's largest consumer products company) in diverse roles across operations, product development, and strategy. I also hold an engineering degree from IIT Bombay, where I graduated with the Institute Silver Medal for topping my class.
What I Do
I build advertising and commerce products at the intersection of large technology platforms and merchant growth. A thread across my career has been taking complex platform capabilities and turning them into simple, high-leverage tools for businesses.
- Product partnerships at scale — Building products that lean into the strengths of major tech platforms (Google, Meta, Microsoft, Snap, Amazon) to create outsized value for merchants
- Zero-to-one product creation — Taking ideas from concept to launch to scale, including Buy with Prime (launched with Amazon's CEO) and Shop Campaigns at Shopify
- Commerce advertising systems — Real-time bidding, programmatic infrastructure, ML-driven bid optimization, audience targeting, and feed management
- Measurement & attribution — Privacy-preserving ad measurement, incrementality testing, clean room partnerships, and conversion signal architecture
- Economic empowerment — Making sophisticated advertising infrastructure accessible to businesses of all sizes, not just the largest retailers
